The Sixth Genre: Beast Mimic/Torured Beastnoid

Anteriusound Series -Imitation

In Mandarin, there are rich vocabularies to describe various animal sounds, for instance, cicada chirping, ape gibbering, deer howling, lion roaring, crane screaming, wolf yelling, tiger growling, horse whinnying, dog barking, and birds tweeting. Interestingly, these vocabularies representing not only sounds, images, and actions, but also their vivid energy as if we can get even closer and imagine their attitudes.

However, as long as there are lives, there will be death. I have heard from a friend, who frequent volunteer at a zoo, that a rhinoceros died, which will be made into a specimen. However, the large-scale specimen takes a lot of production time, making the process slower than the rate of decay.

He said that they had to cover their noses to avoid the odor and scraped away the decaying tissues from the skull for preserving the skeleton. A creature with some hundreds of kilograms will then disappear and remain silent. Just think about it, if one day, we no longer have the opportunity to see them and hear from them; besides specimens, texts, and video records, how can we describe and imagine these creatures which once existed?
