The Fourth Genre: Laboratory/Operating Room/Specimen Room

Plague
Plasmid, Variegated, Cristation, Colony, Diffusion, Illusion, Quarantine, Escape
Tidal Range, Brittle-Ductile, Consolidation, Rigid Body, Cluster, Deep Crack, The Thing, Slave
Signaling, Transaction, Domination, Regulation, Newspeak, Obedience, Perdition, Praise
Heat Death, Anchoring, Demise, Bias, Gambling, Apostasy, Extinction, Relic

Reality is plural, fragmented, like destiny, like hypnosis, like the true destiny we have never seen after the fog has come down

The long river, winding and turbulent; hidden currents rise and fall
The machine stands on mountain ridge, looking directly at each and every step of the staggering shadow
The disciplined knees preserve the banner of labor
Metals awaken, happiness perceived

You and I are livestock, confined in the boundless landscape.

Profile

Born in Taipei in 1980 and grew up in the 1990s filled with subcultures and rock ‘n’ roll music.

Graduated from Department of Fine Arts, Taipei National University of the Arts. Began hanging out with artists in high school, and served as the director of the army’s last movie theater. Person in charge of Art War Company, a contemporary art exhibition technical team.

Indifferent to work at the moment. Despise works that have too many words and are ugly, as well as guys who want to “be” artists.

Believe in few things. Bad in nature. Miss the moment when simply love art.

“Exhibition is the most nihilist thing in the world.”
